Long strapped/chained bags are IN!

So I have been obsessed with bags with long straps or chains for forever but I haven't gotten one yet!! After seeing Nicole Richie's Chanel 2.55 red lambskin bag and her black one too, I swore that I'd get one also, and I will. I PROMISE!! I also saw this adorable brown leather Marc Jacobs bag that had one long strap and I want that also. So many bags, so little money!! Then I was reading my Harper's Bazaar magazine two nights ago and it said that long strapped bags are totally in for Spring 2010 and large shrunken totes are out. Uh-oh. There goes my Coach and D&G. I also love Ashley Olsen's Lambskin handbag by Miumiu. It has everything I want-it's huge and has a long strap. I carry so much stuff around!! MaryKate Olson's white purse is cute too but I need it to be bigger bolder and brown or black!! I hate purses in any other color-and that includes those super tacky Louis Vuitton multi-colored monogrammed speedy bags. Also, someone asked me yesterday why I spend so much money on bags, and I stated, "Because they're cute accessories." and the other girl said why don't you just get fake ones....I ALMOST PASSED OUT. SHE JUST DOESN'T GET IT. Okay in all seriousness. If you can't afford the real deal, then just don't get it at all. Fakes are tacky,cheap, and they rip off the actual designers. NOT COOL. Plus you can totally spot fakes since they aren't made from good quality.

What's in My Purse by our guest vlogger

So I'm obsessed with floooofs video. Wanna know why? Well, I was watching her what's in my purse video and I had an epiphany! I need more designer products. So I went to the official Chanel website and ordered these adorable Chanel aviators which come in the cutest case, and then I decided...I still need more designer stuff! So I totally splurged on this huge Dolce & Gabbana bag in Black Moto. Its' sooo cute and it's rouffed leather. I love it!! Then I was hanging out with my amazing friends(who go to private school and always seem to have money growing out of their arse) and we decided we wanted to hit up Abercrombie after we went to Subway. Well while I was pulling out my adorable Hello Kitty debit card from my Vera Bradely I.D. case, one of my friends asked why I didn't have a wallet. So I pulled out my brown Louis Vuitton Monogrammed one. Sad thing is, I'm tired of it. Once I have something for a while I get bored of it. So I'm now selling it on Ebay. If you want it, leave a post and I'll send you the ebay link. So after we went to A&F we decided to go to the LV store in the mall in my area. I saw the cutest wallet but it was in neon red and I hate flashy colors so I ordered a shiny black LV wallet which I should be getting any day now!! Now, I'm totally broke but that's okay because I have work tomorrow(and I track meet; whoo-hoo!) I'll make sure to do a review on all my nwe goodies. I love these Tory Burch rainboots!!

These Tory Burch Colson Boot are so cute! They are great for Winter or Spring and are amazing knee high boots. You acn wear them in the rain and protect your feet against snow plus they are super stylish and are amazing quality. Loove them!!

I love these Chanel aviators and simple oversized Chanel shades. So cute!! They both have the chanel emblem on the sides. I just wish that the aviators had the chanel symbol in white or gold color but other than that they are GORGEOUS!!

My new hair do

This is a really good video I found on how to layer your hair. I'm sick and tired of my black hair with brown highlights so I'm either going to get a red rinse or mahogany highlights, shaggy bangs, and multi layers. I already know how to layer my hair but if you don't the above video is great!!

My Fave Perfumes

My Two hands-down fave perfumes in order are Britney Spear's Fantasy, Paris Hilton Can-Can, and Paris Hilton Heiress. Right now I'm using Heiress. It smells amazing and a bit like expensive soap. The smell is so fresh and so clean and it reminds me of summer days when I was a kid, waking up on a Saturday and listening to my neighbors cutting their lawn. It has a very floral scent wit ha touch of citrus. On the other hand, Fantasy and Can-Can are both very sweet and very girly scents. Honestly I can't completely remember how Fantasy smells like. All I know is that I used it forever and it smelled amazing and made me want to eat strawberries dipped in chocolate. Can-Can is a lot like Fantasy exceot it lacks the vanilla notes and the tad bit muskier smell that Fantasy encompasses. I used Fantasy all of last year, Heiress this past summer till now, and Fantasy will be used in the Winter. I know Spears has a new perfume called Midnight Fantasy but I haven't tried or smelled that one yet but I'll let you know soon enough.

Ankle boots are ahhhmazing

I am so in love with ankle boots!! I think they are a major fall and winter staple for this year. You can find them from the catwalks of Milan, to the streets of NYC, to a Walmart in BO-hum Harford County. My faves are the peep toe ankle boots. Since I'm tall I try to find ones with tinier heels so I don't tower over anyone else. They are so ridiculously cute. Long Pants a la Nicole Richie and MK Olsen

OK so I ABSOLUTELY love too long pants, especially ripped denim. I'm so into the grunge look but unfortunately I can't top it off with a pair of designer shades because I wear it to school. (I know sucks rite? I love wearing sunglasses indoors.) Ethereal shirts that are about 1 inch too shirt look great with too long jeans. It's hard enough to find jeans that fit me (sinec I'm so tall and skinny) and even harder to find extra long ones, but if you're average height this should be an easier look to pull off. Pait with lots of funky wooden jewelry, rings that your grandmother would wear, flip flops heels or boots, a large bag, huge shades, and wavy hair. This is a messy look so don't bother looking 'too pulled together'. This look looks best on tall think people and short thin people. If you're curvy it may not work as well. Ripped jeans give the pants an extra flair. I love MK and NR in these pics. They look so laid back but adorable.

I Love Girlicious

I think that they are such a hot new girl group and I'm surprised that they haven't gotten HUGE yet. No offense but the PCDs are getting old and saggy now. We need girls to take their place. Some of their songs are great(and the dancing is sooo ACE) but they appear at times as though they are trying to hard to be hot and it just appears ridiculously trashy. Chrystina is my personal favorite and then Natalie. Nichole just seems like the random blond tossed in, in order to give them more flavor and to add a 'white' side. Sadly Tiffanie is no longer part of the group because Robyn didn't want them to sound urban anymore (aka Tiffanie's voice was too black for the group and she didn't look as Western as the other girls) but Tiff didn't like the direction in which the group was going anyway. Keep doing your thing honey!! Tiffanie has now gone solo and has a hot song called Melting Like Icecream which can be watched here:

Kanye West is a Dick

Kanye West was SUCH a dick last night at the VMAs. Katy Perry even twittered "Fuck you Kanye. It's like you stepped on a kitten." and Pink stated that Kanye was a major tool. Donald Trump is calling for a boycott of Kanye West. Beyonce handled the entire situation SO WELL and she is such an amazing person (that we all love.) Taylor Swift looked so sad and down-trodden. Kanye go F yourself. Your jus tas bad as that Republican who yelled "LIAR!" like an uncivilized idiont, during Obama's speech on health care. Kanye is supposed to be on Jay Leno tonight. Here we go..hopefully he'll apologize. There's a difference between being confident and being cocky. I agree that Beyonce's vid was better than Taylor's, but she DID win best overall, and he was just WAY over line. If somone did that to him, he would have flipped a SHIT. You suck Kanye. I'm so over you.

How to Straighten Layered Hair

Sorry I look so rough. I was about to go to bed. I'll come up with an updated full video very soon, I promise!! But for now this is how I straighten my really choppy layers. Alot of people complain that when they straighten their layered hair, especially if they have bangs, parts of it don't straighten well or they stick straight out. Yikes, Hope this helps gorgies!

Chanel Iman

I am so freaking obsessed with this girl (in a non-sketchy, non-homo way). I think she is is ridiculously model gorgeous and so effing skinny (which makes me sooo jealous.) She's 5'10 and a size 0. I would kill to be a size zero but I'm well on my way (currently a 2, yes!) She's one of the most sought after models of our generation. I got to meet her when I went to New York to look at colleges and meet with top model agencies. She's really down to earth and a super chill person!

Garnier Fructis Product Review

I think Garnier Fructis products are to die for. Besides the fact that they smell AHHHH-mazing, they make my hair super shiny and strong and I never get product build-up like I did when using Pantene Pro-V or Biolage. The only other hair products that have ever worked this well are CHI hairproducts, but they are much more high end on the price spectrum and their line isn't as large as GFs. My favorite GF line is their line for silky straight hair. I tried their products for curly hair this summer, when I decided to give my hair a break from my beloved straightener, and they were simply okay. It didn't make my curls stand out more, but it did manage to keep the prizz a tbay(although my hair doesn't really get frizzy so that's not saying much). For hair that shines with all it's strength...choose Garner Fructis. Loves it

Cowboy boots

A lot of people have been asking me where I got my leather Gold Rush cowboy boots. Unfortunately, they don't make the ones I have anymore but you can get other ones that are like it. Mine were $120 dollars but you can find cheaper ones on ebay, at Best Feet in Lochraven, bootcity.com,and cavenders.com. If you're going to get cowbpy boots, please get the real ones rather than the shiny pleather ones which squeak when rubbed against each other. They are such a major fashion no-no and are so hideously shiny and look like shoes for a life-size cowgirl doll. Anyway, I hope this was helpful. I love my boots because I can wear them with shorts,skirts, and mini dresses, and they're really comfy. The only probelm is that they have no traction so if you wear them in snow, you have to be careful that you don't fall and split your ass...loves it

Oversized cardigan

I've been looking everywhere for an oversized cardigan like the one MK Olsen is sporting in this picture. I know Abercrombie has a few but I would prefer one that's actually designer rather than poseur designer. (I'm not a huge fan of the whole A&F and Hollister shindig even though I used to work there)....and I wouldn't recommend wearing sunglasses in the dark...unless your an Olsen.
BTW- You can find look alikes of the shoes she's wearing at Nordstrom!

Nicole's outfits always seem perfectly put together, with just the right amount of sloppiness and chicness. Take for example the outfit to the left: Her messy ponytail is balanced out with her uber cute scarf and bright red Chanel bag, creating the ultimate a-list look.

Labor Day

Hey guys, I just created this blog because I'm bored and don' t have much else to do. I've been contemplating whether to dye my hair or cut it because I'm tired of the same old long locks. If yo have any ideas then please feel free to give me a shout out. I need a new style for fall. I don't know how often I'll be updating this blog because I have classes but I'll do the best that I can. I ifnd it very funny though, that we don't have school on labor day. Kind of ironic, I think.
